wOe is an international art(ansi, ascii, hirez), music,
coding and bbsmodding group. It started off in October
of 1996 as a small modding group, and later merged with
Hysteria, a small art and bbsmodding group from Norway.
The group was an original idea by demon, inspired by
emberman (aka dreadnought). Initially a bbs modifications
group, but soon changed when demon talked to pogue (of
hysteria) of a possible merging of the two groups. A
few days later, it was finalized. Hysteria was to be
merged into wOe, and added to that merge, was an art
and music division.
We are now one and produce works of bbs modifications,
art, coding and music. We are still however a group
that specializes mostly in bbs modifications and ascii.
wOe prides itself on its extraordinary modding skills.
Our ascii division is going great, but still we wish
we had a good hirez and ansi division too. Ever since
wOe started, we have been going nowhere but uphill,
and plan to continue the same way (well, some downhill
aswell, but that happens to everyone).
We're here to stay and mod/draw/code upon request
and upon member availability. Also, just because you
request does not mean we'll fulfill the request. If
anyone or any groups doesn't like us and wants to start
shit, try taking it someplace else. wOe was not formed
to start trouble or to think we're elite. IRC war and
groups battles are just plain pathetic and childish.
If you are one of these types of people, stay away from
us.
WOE PRODUCTIONS is always in demand of quality members
who can draw, mod, code, or compose. If you're interested,
please get in contact with us and/or fill out our application
generator or our html forms. keep in mind that we are
no longer accepting anymore distrobution sites (only
hq'ers). You can, however, try; which might juss get
you a headquarter position.
If you want to join wOe, we expect work from you. If
you applied just to get another affil, and not put any
work, then we do not want you. we do not accept egotistical
dicks, if you are one, don't waste our time by applying.
Keep in mind that we release wheneva.. [ if ever ]..
we don't exactly giveafukk about how many releases we
have, or that we MUST release a consistant amount of
mods err whateva per month.. heh.. fukk that.. we too
lazy.. ;) we do accept requests. if you are in need
of an ansi or bbs mod, contact one of our staff members,
email us, or fill out our html forms stating exactly
what you're requesting. Keep in mind, that even though
you made a request, your request might not be fullfilled.
if your name is not listed in tha .nfo, then either
you have been inactive too long and have not contacted
our staff members, or we were juss too lazy to add ur
name in. :) (or mail us and we'll find out why;)
