Phobic Ansi Products started originally out in 1996
when WOE had ansi art in their WOE Chronicles, but our
ansi division was reborn in 1998 under the new name
"woe ansi independed".
Methane666 of WOE was thinking about how much he would
have liked to have his own group and he was given the
priviledge to put all the woe ansis in one pack without
any bbs mods or vga's. He put out one pack and then
he decided to resign from the scene to make his own
group or just join some other group? that question is
still unsolved;). After that incident we agreed on renaming
"woe ansi independed" to Phobic. This because we thought
there was too much WOE in the scene (considering woezine,
woe modding, woe hirez..etc.)
So thats how the group was born. After some time and
effort, we were talking to "mono" aka mxonfrost about
putting new life into Phobic Ansi, but it never happened.
So to this date, Phobic Ansi has only released one ansi
pack, and thats it, until someone comes up to us and
wants to bring life back into our ansi division. [year
