WOEZINE EMAG www.thuglife.org/woezine

The woezine emag was formed in 1996. In the start, woezine where an emag that was for and by WOE members only. But that changed and it became a normal emag about the scene and in the start alot of people would help out with it, there is even 3 versions of the first emag, but only one where to be released.

Persons like D3m0n, Dreadnought, Elmer Fudd and p0gue, are persons that have made a big contribute to the emag. Dreadnought were the guy who really got things moving and he made his version of the emag in 1996, but he later quitted doing it and we didn't see him for a long time. When we saw him, we asked for the code (ofcourse), but he wouldn't give it away and there were no woezine issues released.

Elmer Fudd made his own version of the emag aswell, but we only saw a beta of it before he left the scene. So again, no woezine issues released.

D3m0n started coding on his version of the emag. As you probably know by now, there were alot of betas out, but no real version. D3m0n changed that. He actually coded it all from scratch with the use of Dreadnoughts ansis. It took some time, but atleast he did a really kewl emag from scratch. With moving ligthbars, which nobody has done after him and that you could change music and fonts.

What happened next, is that D3m0n also quitted the scene, only after he released issue #one of woezine. But after hard talks, he gave the source code to p0gue, so he could release more issues and recode it. And since that time, p0gue has recoded the emag alot and added new bugs, ehh, features:) and alot more. He has even get rid of some bugs that D3m0n had included in the source.

Until this day, p0gue is the main coder of woezine, the emag which is based on the old source code made by Dreadnought, d3m0n and p0gue. You would have opened your eyes, if you had seen the source code, cause its pretty big. You can thank d3m0n and p0gue for the special fx in the emag.

How did we came up with the name? Simple. We run a group called WOE and we do a ZINE? Thats mainly what we thought of, no biggies behind it:).
